You're in for a treat with breathtaking views and a flying experience high above beautiful Waiheke Island.

Passengers will check in at Waiheke Wings base 10 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure time. A safety briefing will commence prior to flight.

After take-off from Waiheke Aerodrome you will immediately begin to enjoy incredible views. This flight allows you to soak up some of the local beauty right from the get-go, including the local beaches, coastline and many vineyards.

This Bioluminescence kayak tour is an exhilarating night paddle where you can experience the magical phenomena of a light show put on by the smallest of these living sea creatures. Be one of the few to see this natural phenomenon known as ‘Sea Sparkle’ or ‘Marine Aurora’.

Rangitoto Island Return Ferry

Sail out to one of the most iconic landmarks in the Hauraki Gulf - Rangitoto Island, and spend the day exploring.

Rangitoto erupted from the sea approximately 600 years ago in a series of dramatic explosions. Two episodes 10 to 50 years apart are thought to have lasted for several years each. This makes Rangitoto the youngest island in the Hauraki Gulf and the last and largest volcano to be formed in the Auckland volcanic field.

Exploring Rangitoto is a fantastic day adventure. A gentle climb through lava fields will lead you to the summit in approximately one hour. Allow extra time to explore the lava caves on the way back, or see the historic bach community near the wharf.

Ferry takes approximately 25 minutes from downtown Auckland.

This Sunset tour to Rangitoto was rated the 'Best guided tour in New Zealand by the Wilderness Magazine June 2020'.

After your safety briefing and paddling instruction you will kayak across the Waitemata harbour, meaning ‘sparkling waters’, where you may see wildlife such as Little Blue Penguins and Cooks Petrels.

You'll pull your kayaks up to Rangitoto wharf before embarking on a one-hour explorative, fun and informative trek to the summit, viewing the spectacular sites and learning all about the history of the region. The views of Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf will wow you as you glide around the summit of  North Head/Maungauika. You’ll learn new things about one of Auckland’s most treasured historic reserves which protected Auckland against the perceived Russian invasion of the 1880s.
