Have gifted experiences for both my 21 year old grandsons, & hope I it’s something that they will always remember.
It’s possible that these cousins will organise something together.
So easy to order online, & a couriered package with all the details arrived promptly.
I like the good range of activity options, and the length of time the voucher is valid.
Loved being able to support local and get my clients something they could choose from they sent a message after I gave it to them that shared how excited they were to choose something to do together that would be new for them to experience.
Super quick service and delivery too – awesome work, thanks team Chuffed Gifts!
I really like the idea of this gift, and I’m sure the recipients will enjoy choosing an experience. The ordering process was easy, and everything arrived quickly. However, I was quite disappointed with the presentation. I expected the included booklet to showcase the available experiences with photos and descriptions so the recipients could sit down together, browse through the options, and get excited about what they wanted to do. Instead, it’s mostly filled with generic New Zealand-themed questions and prompts, which honestly didn’t add much value. I understand that experiences can change over time and that new ones may be added while others are removed. However, for a gift at this price point, I still expected a booklet that felt like part of the experience itself. Even if it meant updating or reprinting the booklet periodically, I think it would make the gift feel far more premium and personal. The whole reason I chose this over simply buying a standard gift voucher was because I wanted something tangible and exciting to give my friends. I imagined them sitting down together, flicking through the booklet, looking at all the experiences, and deciding what they’d like to do. Instead, they’re basically directed to go online, which makes the booklet feel like a missed opportunity. The experience voucher itself is a great concept, but the presentation didn’t live up to what I was expecting and made the gift feel much less special than it could have been.
Great idea for a gift – our son was very happy. Great service – we received the gift card quickly and they even quickly refunded the $10 first-time discount as I had forgotten to put the code in when I purchased.
Super convenient and wholesome gift idea 🥰 experiences over materials 💯

Click to find out moreDiscover one of Gisborne’s most unforgettable wildlife experiences as you step into the shallow waters of Tatapouri and come face-to-face with wild stingrays in their natural environment. Located just 15 minutes from Tairāwhiti Gisborne on New Zealand’s East Coast, where the first light of the day reaches the country’s shores, this world-famous reef adventure combines incredible marine encounters, rich local culture, and stunning coastal scenery.
After arriving, you'll be fitted with the appropriate gear and receive a briefing from experienced guides before heading out onto the reef. As you explore the shallow waters, you'll have the opportunity to meet the Tamariki (children) of Tangaroa, the Māori God of the Sea, including wild short-tail stingrays, eagle rays, and other fascinating reef inhabitants. Watch as friendly stingrays glide gracefully through the water, and if conditions allow, encounter well-known local rays such as Pancake and Waffle, who may settle gently at your feet while you learn about their behaviour and the unique marine ecosystem they call home.
What makes this experience truly special is the chance to interact with completely wild marine life in a natural setting while gaining insights from guides who have observed some of these stingrays since birth. This experience offers a deeper understanding of ocean life, Māori connections to the sea, and the importance of protecting these remarkable creatures. Leave with unforgettable memories, a new appreciation for the marine world, and stories you'll be sharing long after you've left the reef behind.
