Cruise & Lunch:

Cruise aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw across to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Once at the lakeside Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant savour the delicious aromas as your chef has the best of local produce sizzling away on the grill.

Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown's alpine scenery, the Colonel’s Homestead at Walter Peak High Country Farm is the perfect place to spend a few hours. Its colonial architecture and sweeping grounds evoke the elegance of a bygone era.

On the menu is salads, vegetables and a variety of succulent meats cooked on the wood-fired BBQ. This is not the typical Kiwi BBQ you may imagine. Instead, the Chef oversees a wood-fired grill empire that’s responsible for an incredible range of delectable cuisine. From sausages prepared by a local butcher and Cardrona merino lamb to locally sourced beef and pork to expertly crafted salads and sides (not to forget an incredible dessert selection), this is a culinary trip not to be missed.

An entertaining farm demonstration is also included or you can explore the beautiful lakeside gardens before enjoying a cruise back to Queenstown on the TSS Earnslaw.

We think everyone should jump out of a plane at least once in their lives. It's hard to describe the feeling, but you can imagine it, hanging out the side of a plane, attached to a highly experienced instructor and then simply falling away from the plane at up to 200kph. A truly bucket list experience.

It takes a certain kind of person to jump from an aircraft at 9,000ft into thin air. It takes courage.

The 4-Seater Jet Sprint Boats carries Oxbow's professional driver and three passengers. They operate on a custom-built Jet Sprint course with a series of islands to navigate around. Accelerating at an incredible 0 to 100km in only 2.5 seconds, your expert Jet Sprint Boat driver will negotiate you around Oxbow's very own racetrack before you've had a moment to catch your breath.

The Ultimate Off-Roader is a 4-Seater, which carries our trained professional driver and three passengers. The off-roaders are 4WD, 4-wheel steer, and an extremely low centre of gravity, allowing them to practically go anywhere. You'll suit up in our off-roader kit, helmet and protective gear before strapping into the custom-designed vehicle for the off-road experience of a lifetime.
