This adventure is located deep in an ancient native forest only 15 minutes from Rotorua. In the forest, that has been painstakingly restored over the last 10 years into a safe haven for native birds and creatures, you’ll traverse this magnificent environment via a series of walking trails, suspended forest bridges and ziplines. It’s a truly magnificent experience. If you’re lucky you’ll even handfeed wild native birds.

Step back in time in this native forest and come face to face with towering trees and native flora untouched for centuries in one of the most intact native eco-systems you’ll find anywhere in New Zealand. Embark on a network of ziplines, swing bridges, cliff-walks, tree top platforms and more which journey deep into 500 hectares of ancient forest. A uniquely intimate experience, each tour has a limit of 10 people, meaning more time with your authentic guides who are highly trained to keep you safe, make you smile and teach you amazing things as they bring the forest to life.
It’s an adventure that puts you at the heart of the forest restoration story, with every ticket purchased contributing to conservation efforts. To date, 220 hectares of the Dansey Road Scenic Reserve have been restored by removing thousands of predators. Together with their customers, Rotorua Canopy Tours has brought the forest back to life and created a forest eco-sanctuary for birdlife to flourish.

ZORB:
Superman dive into a giant inflatable ball and roll down Mt Ngongotaha with ZORB, where the fun will have you laughing uncontrollably.
Choose two rides between the four different ball rolling tracks – the world’s longest zig-zag Sidewinder Track, the smooth ‘n’ fast double Straight Track, MEGA Track -the longest, fastest and steepest track in all the land, and the newest track; Big Air, the latest thrill ride. Ride with water or without water, the choice is yours!
The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers invented and developed the first ever ZORB site in the world back in 1997 at this very location!
