Take part in a family activity that Mum, Dad and the kids will all love and talk about for months after! Join a Small-Group Lesson with Hibiscus Surf School at Mt Maunganui! You’ll enjoy personalized instruction, because they only operate their groups with up to 6 participants.
It’s common for surf schools to put everyone into one big group, but from 15 years experience teaching beginners, Hibiscus know that’s not ideal for learning. Small groups are safer, more fun, and you’ll understand how to surf faster.
Your equipment hire is included – a soft-top beginner surfboard and full length wetsuit, correctly fitted to you.
The class begins with a 20 minute beach theory, where you’ll learn ocean safety, paddling and pop-up. Then you’ll be taken into the water, where your instructor will help you onto small waves and cheer you on.
Before you know it, you’ll be riding waves with a huge smile on your face!
