Can I get the gift quickly?

We can courier overnight for next day delivery providing your order is received by 2pm. So if you order it on Monday afternoon we can get it delivered to your door on Tuesday. Allow an extra day for rural delivery.

I want to send it direct to the recipient. How does it arrive?

You can include a message at check out that we will print and put in the experience booklet. We will then gift wrap it and send you a photo of it before and after wrapping so you know exactly what you sent!

What’s your 7 day money back guarantee?

We haven’t had a gift returned yet and we offer our 7 day money back guarantee!  That means contact us within 7 days and we will invalidate the code on your gift so it can’t be redeemed and we will refund your full amount. No questions asked. You can even keep the Chuffed Tube to store pencils and pens!

Can the recipient upgrade the package?

Yes – if they decide they want to upgrade to a different package that is no problem. They contact our friendly reservation folk, pay the price difference to upgrade and we courier them a new experience booklet of their upgraded package.

Do you have South Island options?

From July this year Chuffed will have 100’s of experiences from Northland to Southland and everywhere in between. We’re not quite ready to launch it yet but will be very soon. So, for the the time being it is just upper North Island.

This gift sounds awesome – is it as good as it sounds?

Yes – it’s actually better. Feedback from customers is that the actual giving this gift and the excitement that spreads across the recipients face as they realise what it is, is priceless. And then of course, the joy they feel when they actually do the experience. Its like giving them a gift twice.

When does the gift expire?

The gift is valid for 12 months so recipients have a full year to choose what experience they want and head off and do it.

I don’t get it – all the prices are about the same as if I went direct to the experience provider – Chuffed appears to be really good value for money?

All the individual experiences in each package have a retail price about the same as the price of a Chuffed Gift Package. This is because Chuffed has an arrangement with each experience provider (over 90 of them) where they pay a commission to Chuffed for every gift that is redeemed at their business. This makes the whole Chuffed experience very good value.

What is a Chuffed gift?

A Chuffed gift contains details of a number of extraordinary experiences from different regions throughout New Zealand that reflect the package chosen by you, the gift giver.  These experiences have been hand-picked by us to ensure the best gift experiences are on offer.  The person receiving a Chuffed gift then chooses the experience that they would love to do the most – so you can never get it wrong. 

There's something for everyone and for every occasion – whether you are buying for a thrill seeker, nature lover or someone who enjoys rest and relaxation; whether it’s for a birthday, Christmas present, thank you or goodbye - a Chuffed gift has it covered!

How do I choose a gift?

Browse our range of categories and select a package that you think is the best fit for your intended person.  Each package contains a number of amazing experiences that that the recipient can then choose from.  The final decision on what experience is gifted rests with the recipient so you can never get it wrong.

What experiences can the recipient choose from?

The package you purchase determines the type and nature of the experiences that are available for the recipient to choose. 

Each experience within the package is clearly explained with photographs, conditions of entry and other relevant information. The packages are designed to excite and inspire and please even the hardest of people to buy for.

Are you introducing more experiences?

Yes we are expanding our experience range rapidly over the next few months to include experiences all over New Zealand and introduce new exciting experiences in the regions we currently are serving.

Is a Chuffed gift only for one person?

Some of the experiences included in the packages are for one person and some experiences are for two people. The person receiving the Chuffed gift can decide whether they want to share their Chuffed gift by choosing an experience for two people or whether they want to keep it all to themselves and choose an experience just for them.

The one person and two people icons on the website and on the information provided to the recipient clearly show which experiences in each package are for one person and which are for two. 

What does a Chuffed gift look like?

A Chuffed gift starts with the excitement of opening a unique gift tube designed to create intrigue and suspense. The gift tube gives you a tangible, colourful present to give to your intended person. It is made in New Zealand, is 100% recyclable and is designed to be repurposed.

Inside the gift tube is  a booklet outlining how the gift works, the package that has been gifted and ultimately how to redeem the gift. Each experience within the package is clearly explained with photographs, conditions of entry and other relevant information. The booklet is designed to excite and inspire the recipient. A Chuffed gift ends with the recipient participating in an experience that they are bound to love – after all, they choose it! 

How big is the Chuffed gift tube?

Our unique Chuffed gift tube is 19cm tall and has a diameter of 9cm. 

Will the recipient know how much I spent?

The price of the Chuffed gift that you purchase is not printed on any of the materials intended for the recipient. 

Can the gift recipient upgrade to a different package?

Yes they can. They simply contact us, pay the upgrade difference and we will send them the experience booklet of the new package

How long does the gift take to arrive?

All tubes are sent via overnight courier and are usually delivered the next working day. If you place your order before 2pm your gift will be dispatched that day (Monday-Friday). Please allow two nights for rural addresses as rural delivery can sometimes take an additional day.

If your Chuffed gift does not arrive as expected please let us know as soon as possible so that we can investigate and organise a replacement, if necessary.   

How much does shipping cost?

Overnight courier anywhere in New Zealand is FREE and is delivered in 1-2 working days. Delivery to rural addresses can sometimes take an additional day.

Can I have my Chuffed gift sent straight to the person I’m giving it to?

Yes! We can send your Chuffed gift directly to whoever you want. You can leave us a note in the message box in your cart and when you check out, enter the lucky person’s details in the postage address section.

Redeeming a Chuffed Gift

How does the recipient redeem the gift?

Once the recipient has chosen the experiencefrom the range of options in the booklet, they simply visit https://chuffedgifts.co.nz/pages/redeem and fill in the redemption form. Chuffed Gifts will then send the recipient a voucher/ticket via email for their chosen experience.

Once redeemed how does the recipient book their chosen experience?

Chuffed Gifts will email the recipient a voucher/ticket for their chosen experience once they have completed the redemption form on the Chuffed website (https://chuffedgifts.co.nz/pages/redeem). The voucher/ticket will have specific booking instructions. The booking instructions need to be read carefully. Some of our experience providers simply require the voucher, others need to be pre-booked. All instructions on how to book the chosen experience are clearly displayed on the voucher.

When does a Chuffed gift expire?

All Chuffed gifts have a 12 month expiry date from the date of purchase. The expiry date is found on the back of the booklet contained in the gift tube.

Are there any booking fees?

No - the price paid at the time of purchasing a Chuffed gift includes all fees, including delivery by standard courier. The only additional fee is if you require your Chuffed gift to be delivered by urgent courier.

Do the experiences have participation restrictions?

Yes, some of the experiences on offer have requirements such as a certain fitness level, minimum age, weight limit and various other restrictions. Any specific restrictions are outlined on the Chuffed website and are also clearly displayed in the booklet the recipient receives next to the relevant experience/s and also on the voucher/ticket issued to the recipient for the specific experience.  

Is it possible to get a refund?
